Z Lot – this is a 10-storey tall behemoth which can easily accommodate more than 1200 vehicles in Downtown Detroit. Murals line the elevator exterior walls up all 10 floors but the gem is on the exterior top floor with skyline and downtown views of the city.

Douglas Evans Nature Preserve – This is a popular trail for walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
