A Southwest Detroit Engagement Featuring Dogs and Donuts | Tori & Drew

Tori and Drew love Detroit and especially the southwest area of the city where they live. So when it came time to schedule their session, they knew they wanted a southwest Detroit engagement session featuring dogs and donuts. Engagement sessions are the perfect time to be creative and have fun! This means planning a meaningful engagement session with locations that matter to you as a couple. 

For Tori and Drew, that meant some favorite spots where they spend a lot of time together around their neighborhood. We kicked off this Detroit engagement session with a stop at Donut Villa, one of their favorite donut shops. Donut engagement pictures? Count me in. 

Then, we hung out in Clark Park where they spend a lot of time walking and playing with their 3 dogs. So of course that meant involving the dogs in their engagement session too! If you want to invite your furry friends along for your engagement pictures, the best thing to do is ask a friend to be your “dog-handler” for the session. Tori’s parents met us at the park with the pups, and when we were done with photos, they were able to take the dogs back home while we continued for a few last photos.
